A selection of recent Community Led Projects
Red Poppy White Feather, 2014 (with Blazing Tales)
Across this collaborative project, we worked with a selection of community groups in Hayle to creative explore Hayle in Cornwall during the First World War. The project culminated in a sound and visual installation at Hayle Foundry Trust Museum.
Tea Ceremony, 2013 (Cockington Court, Torquay)
A participative durational piece to celebrate the great British love of tea as part of the first Ceramics Festival at Cockington Court. A quirky combination of the reverend Japanese ceremony and a Greek celebration, we created our own tea, cups and ceremony. Once the tea was drunk participants smashed their cups against a wall in a celebratory flourish.
Memorabilia, 2013 (with Blazing Tales)
A project gathering stories through words, music and visuals with older people in Ashburton, Devon.
The project resulted in a series of visual and audio outcomes, including a celebratory tea party with story telling and music, a tea set with illustrations, and tea caddies with audio pieces.
